What started as a college roommate matching app evolved into a powerful platform for commercial real estate development. We've spent years building tools that help investors find and close deals faster, combining deep market intelligence with AI models to surface opportunities that others miss.
HouseFly: Roommate Matchmaking App
Students needed help finding compatible roommates and housing. We built HouseFly AI, a machine-learning–powered app that matched students based on lifestyle, preferences, and budget. We matched hundreds of students and began working with Boston-area brokers to help place them in off-campus housing.
HouseFly AI: Realtor Follow-Up Assistant
As the roommate app gained traction, we formed official partnerships with five Boston brokerages. After interviewing more than 100 brokers, we limited the platform to top-reviewed partners. We monetized through a blended subscription and commission model with our brokerage partners.
Pivot to AI SMS
We pivoted away from the roommate app and focused entirely on building AI tools for our partner brokerages. Our most successful product was an AI SMS follow-up assistant that automatically qualified leads and followed up on a custom cadence, helping brokers ensure no lead slipped through the cracks.
Recognition and University Features
The Khoury College of Computer Science featured our company in a news article and LinkedIn content. We were also included in Northeastern University's AI curriculum, where our work was discussed in computer science courses. Link to article
Scaling ZoneIQ
As the student rental market slowed, we pivoted again to support real estate developers and commercial brokers. We launched ZoneIQ, our current platform focused on data-driven deal sourcing and market intelligence. To-do: add more details here and revise all written sections
